These are individual Thailand holidays which we've created by combining several of our Thailand tours (modules) together in a logical order. Each of these Thailand holidays offers a truly unique and rewarding Thailand adventure. These trips are a mixture of individual and small group travel, providing a balance between personal and social experience. In each itinerary you'll stay in carefully to selected, unique accommodation that reflects the character of each area.

Prices below are valid until 30th September 2014, are based on two people travelling and exclude international flights. Culture, nature and beaches - this Thailand holiday has everything. You’ll start in Bangkok and travel onto Kanchanaburi and the famous River Kwai, staying overnight in an atmospheric floating raft house. You'll travel on to Thailand's cultural heart, Chiang Mai in the north. You'll learn the skills of a mahout and care for elephants in a sustainable way. Next, you'll experience the life of the local people in a Thai homestay in the countryside. After your time in the north, you'll fly south to the exotic island of Ko Lanta to master the art of Thai cooking and some well deserved relaxation to round off your holiday.

This is an ideal Thailand holiday for those hoping to travel extensively without breaking the bank. All of the journeys are undertaken by train, bus, or boat- keeping costs down.

After your stay near one of Bangkok's Buddhist temples, you'll travel to the River Kwai region. You'll spend the night in one of the atmospheric raft houses right on the water and visit the blue waters of the Erawan waterfalls. Then you'll take an overnight sleeper train to Chiang Mai - the cultural capital of the north. This is where you'll learn the skills of an elephant Mahout and discover all about these gentle giants. After this incredible trip, you'll travel south by flight and train to the sparkling beaches of Ko Phangan. Once you reach the islands you can sit back, relax and enjoy the gorgeous ivory, palm-fringed beaches or go on a snorkelling or diving excursion.

This two-week Thailand holiday combines the historical highlights of the River Kwai and Ayutthaya with the natural beauty of the Erawan waterfalls and the wildlife of Khao Yai National Park. You’ll travel overland and round off your itinerary on the tropical islands in central Thailand.

After exploring the golden temples and vibrant street life of Bangkok you’ll travel up the River Kwai by longtail boat. This itinerary is perfect for those looking for something just a little bit different to the well-worn tourist path. You'll start in Bangkok before getting suited up with a life jacket ready to dive off your floating cottage into the flowing waters of the River Kwai. In Chiang Mai you'll learn the skills of the Mahout (an elephant trainer) then journey East to the temples and tribes of the Golden Triangle.

After seeing the best of Northern Thailand, you'll continue your Thailand trip by travelling south to spend a few days at a traditional Thai home-stay in the countryside then visit the ancient imperial city of Sukothai. You'll finish your adventure amidst the dazzling coral reefs of Ko Tao Island and the vast sandy beaches of neighbouring Ko Phangan.

What is not included in our Thailand holidays?
- The international flights to Thailand are excluded and will be quoted separately. See flight tickets
Travel insurance, please arrange adequate insurance including medical and cancellation cover.
- A few of the smaller transfers are excluded. This gives you more flexibility and gives you a sense of travelling independently. The public transport in Thailand is well organised.
- Visa or Passport costs.
- Optional extras, such as food and drinks, laundry, departure taxes.
