Hidden paradise
This is our 'Little Cabin in Paradise' module. You will stay on a tiny island in Phang Nga Bay, between Krabi and Phuket. We’ve found a beautiful, almost abandoned beach, with palm trees and a small bungalow resort run by a Dutch couple- an idyllic escape from it all. Don't expect any villages or restaurants- this island really is practically deserted. Don't worry though- wonderful Thai food, including fresh fish, will be served at your resort. In the evening, you can lie by the beach bonfire and gaze up at the stars. The day after you arrive, you’ll be taken by boat to hidden lagoons, deserted beaches and remote snorkelling spots. The best time to go on these southern Thailand tours is between November and the end of July. August has unpredictable weather. |

Ko Chang waterfall island
In contrast to the other modules on this page, this Thai island lies to the southeast towards the Cambodian border. It's easily reached from Bangkok- the journey takes around 5 hours. Ko Chang has white sandy beaches, thick rainforests and several sparkling waterfalls. It's a Thai Island which is relatively well-developed with good resorts, lending this trip is a good combination of activity and relaxation. On Day 3, you'll take a day trip by boat to the bounty island of Ko Mak, a smaller and less developed neighbour. This module is a wonderful way to unwind at the end of your Thailand journey, and only a short journey back to Bangkok. |
