Giant trees and lakesThis is a really exceptional module which will take you deep into wildest Thailand. You will explore the enchanting rainforests of Khao Sok and swim in sparkling natural lakes. You'll stay overnight in quirky jungle bungalows and peaceful floating lakehouses. There certainly won't be any other tourists at the lake- only a handful of fishermen live nearby in their floating huts. Your accommodation may be basic, but the setting is out of this world and incredibly beautiful. River levels permitting, you can make a fantastic tube trip, floating downstream through the jungle in a giant rubber ring.Even if you don’t see any wildlife bigger than a millipede, we are positive that you'll have a real adventure. Waking up on a mirror like lake to the sound of monkeys is simply an unforgettable experience. During your free time, you can paddle around in the lake in your own tube or canoe. A walk through this rainforest is equally amazing. Prepare to be thrilled by the buzzing of the cicadas, the calling of the toucans and the chattering of the monkeys. All around you bamboo, bromeliads, lianas, and ferns curl around the towering trees. We cannot recommend this highly enough. |
